U.S. People Speak

The project goals for U.S. People Speak were to create a site that centered around a community of people, was content rich, had the ability to allow community members to participate in discussions and generate topics, and was easy-to-update. We choose a popular, open-source content management system because of its features and design/developer communty. A custom home page template and secondary page template was created based on XHTML/CSS mock-ups. The CMS was configured for easy content updates for articles, news, cartoons, image gallery, and a user forum. I also developed the header graphic, graphic for the contest, and default advertisement graphic.
